Softonyx Tunnel is a SaaS web platform designed for internet service providers (WISPs) and network administrators using MikroTik, focused on the remote management of L2TP VPN connections in a simple, secure, and automated way.

The system allows users to create, manage, and monitor VPN tunnels from a modern control panel, eliminating the need for complex manual configurations on routers.

One of its main features is automated configuration deployment, carried out through a persistent polling-based worker responsible for synchronizing changes directly with MikroTik devices.

Additionally, it integrates a billing system, enabling automated subscription and payment management.

The project was built using modern technologies, prioritizing performance, scalability, and security: Frontend: Astro 5 + React 19 (island architecture) Backend and database: Supabase (PostgreSQL, authentication, and secure credential management) Deployment: Vercel This combination enables: Fast load times and performance optimization Efficient interactivity within the control panel Secure handling of sensitive data, including encrypted credentials via Vault

Softonyx Tunnel was created to simplify the technical operations of WISPs by reducing the complexity of VPN management and centralizing key processes such as configuration, monitoring, and billing into a single platform.
